Final Apple Rumor Update before WWDC 2014
I am so excited that WWDC is finally around the corner.
WWDC ( World wide developer Conference )
Where the company would held this event to announce the upcoming products that they are going to release.
Something that would always go along with this conference are the Rumors that will be leaked to various Technology blog/website. Be it OSx, iphone6 or iOS8. Hence i am going to round up all the rumors that had been leaked for you all to enjoy reading it.
Let's start with hot. IPHONE 6 (Final)
This video is taken by someone who are helping to set up the conference... Through the 11s video, it can't be confirm that is a new iphone 6, but on the back of the phone, it's something new, hence this confirmed that iphone6 will be announced during that day.
So what are the specs that are leaked?
Screen size: There are some rumors that said they are going to release 2 sizes, 4.7inch and 5.5inch.
However i think that the 5.5inch would be held back as iphone6S. 4.7inch screen will be more realistic. Personally i think 4.7inch screen is big enough, still usable with one hand.
Color: Gold, Sliver, SpaceGrey.
Small Features:
The awesome finger print sensor will naturally be carried over.
Some said that this is the phone that finally get NFC (Near field communication)
The camera will bump up to 10-megapizel camera with an f/.8 aperture and an improve filter, according to Chinese website IT168.
---- Battery wise i can't find the news, but it will definitely be improved.
iOS8 (healthcare road)
Even though last year iOS updates has been a huge change, i believe that this year might be even bigger than the last. We might get a glimpse at some big new features, including the introduction of Healthbook, described as Apple’s comprehensive health initiative.
Apple’s Healthbook feature allow users to keep track of things like their nutrition, hydration, bloodwork, and more. For how advanced technology has gotten in the last few years, how we take care of ourselves is still relatively old school, and Apple is looking to change that. Hopefully Healthbook will be linked to their Smartwatch?
Aside from Healthbook, we’re not really expecting major changes to iOS 8. There have been reports claiming we’ll see Maps improvements, a standalone iTunes Radio app (which may be bolstered by Apple’s purchase of Beats Music), and other smaller changes, such as updates to Notifications and iMessage. In addition, Apple may also introduce new Text Edit and Preview apps, along with voice-over LTE support, and even speed enhancements to the overall operating system.
APPLE TV
I think this is not very popular in singapore, nevertheless i will still be putting into this post.
Apple TV now would feature games and apps, with implementation similar to Fire TV. It will be given full SIRI control and possible partnership with some of the bigger content provider such as Time Warner cable. With the recent purchases of BEATS, it might play a bigger role in it.
MAC Book and New OS.
WWDC doesn’t usually introduce new hardware, though rumors suggest that won’t be the case this year. Apple did just bump up the Air’s guts, so perhaps we’re a little too close to that for an update. Rumors indicted that new hardware will be intro, maybe a new line? but i don't think they will. We shall see about that yeah?
IWATCH
This is the category that i am looking forward to. I would really want to own a apple smart watch (I did post the reason on a few post back )
I think it still unlikely that they will announce it now, because they would want to "perfect" before letting it out to the public.
Summary
This year is going to be exciting, because Apple is facing serious competition by its rival company, Samsung. GOOGLE android is taking up the market very fast, including ipad is losing out their market share. Hopefully they can release some WOW product or WOW features to win back some of its customer hearts.
