One Plus Two - Does it still retain the crown in the middle tier realm?

Hi guys, i am back to give my own opinion on another smartphone, this time round is
"ONE PLUS TWO".
The successor of One Plus One which was released last year; Many people praise One Plus One for being a powerful smartphone yet affordable. Right now, One Plus Two is retailing at US$329, for Singapore, it will be available in Lazada in the upcoming months. The price expected to be close to $600.

Another special thing to mention is their "Invite System".  Yes, if you want to get the phone, you will need to have their invites in order to buy. I guess it is to keep them "special", if you want it, you have to work for it as there are numerous way to get it. If you know a friend who bought OnePlusTwo, remember that he has the invite and can be pass to you too.

After reading tons of reviews and many feedback from people, i am prepared to give you what i think about One Plus Two, whether do i think is worth for you guys to get.

Opinion

What i Like:

  1. Even though it is running on Snapdragon 810, where lots of overheating issue that occurred but all the review i read said that they are not facing with any overheating issue. Yes they will still get hot when playing game but it is that extreme till you are unable to hold onto your phone anymore.
  2. I like the display that One Plus Two is using as i am not a fan of QHD or 4K HD ( Sony ) as they tend to suck up a lot of battery. When you are using it to watch a video, you won't complain about it anyway as you can't tell the difference between QHD and FHD. It have great viewing angles and you can still see it clearly if you are under a bright sunlight.
  3. Another feature they have is the fingerprint sensor, they are quick in unlocking your device and i really hope all phones adopt it! In this era, you need fingerprint sensor. The reasons are simple, secure and fast in unlocking your device. Apart from that, you can tap / double tap to do different action. (SO USEFUL)
  4. On the left of the phone, they have a Alert slider which you can use to set the priority setting. It is kinda line Apple's silent switch, but they have more "profile" inbuilt to use. (Do not disturb, silent and normal)
  5. The battery life are reported as very good. With a normal usage, it can survived a normal day. Hence you do not need to carry your portable battery as often unless you play a lot... I mean A LOT of games.
  6. Speaking of games, the phone handles it very well with no lags noticeable at all.

What I Dislike:

  1. NO NFC/ Fast Charging and Wireless Charging. Which mean goodbye to Android wallet and having a no wire charging method. What worst is that has no fast charging feature, which i love it so much on my OPPO R7 Plus
  2. USB TYPE - C... After coming from Apple, I really love micro-usb as the charging port. As you can literally find cables anywhere. Whereas if you use like lighting cable or worst now, USB Type - C. Once you forgot about your cable, you are dead.
    * However, like i say, the battery is good hence it not that bad but well, it still a bad choice IMO*
  3. I know the Camera has 13Megapixel, but it seems like the photo they produced aren't as good as Top Tier smartphones. I am a camera lover too as i love to take food photo a lot, hence i would hope they actually used a better camera sensor

Conclusion:

The price itself and with the processor that they used, you can actually just get it without thinking about it. If you want more reasons, with a large battery and uses a FHD instead of QHD for display, you can expect a full day of usage without worrying about your battery. Even though they lacked of fast charging/nfc/wireless charging, i found a forum that actually stated that 0 - 100 % took them about 2hr 15min which is not bad already.

To be honest, i really wanted to get One Plus Two, but end up i brought Oppo R7 plus (review + Video coming up for that).

To end my post, this phone is definitely worth to get as it is considered cheap and powerful still but first, you need to get the INVITES! You can actually google about it and who knows, you can actually find one.

Hope you guys enjoy reading my post

Question of the day:
Do you prefer QHD or FHD? let me know why you choose that. Thanks guys!
